Lunchroom supervisors support students to provide lunch break supervision on a daily or supply basis. The hours are from 10:25 am - 11:25 am and/or 12:45 pm - 1:45 pm.
Who can be a lunchroom supervisor? What qualifications do you need?
We are looking for lunchroom supervisors with the following skills and qualities:
experience working with children
ability to ensure the safety and security of students
ability to communicate with staff, students and parents
willingness to work with students with different needs and capabilities
ability to work with students with different cultural and language backgrounds
ability to work as a team player
proven record of attendance and punctuality
demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse school community and/or work environment
What will lunchroom supervisors do?
As a lunchroom supervisor, you will ensure the safety and security of students by providing supervision in the classrooms and/or outdoors during lunch breaks.
What are the benefits of being a lunchroom supervisor?
As a lunchroom supervisor, you will earn $14.35 an hour plus a minimum of 4% vacation pay.
